From "Weird Animal Girl" to the Be Well Voice

I’m Dr. Kim, an animal naturopath. I don’t diagnose, prescribe, or treat. I teach caretakers to tune in, build steady habits, and live in rhythm with the Creator’s design for their animals and themselves.

The spark for my work was my Neapolitan Mastiff, Shadrach. His big heart and bigger presence pressed me to learn, question, and show up better. I began writing about natural pet care, and later shared his story in my book, Animals Taught Me That.

Because of him, I returned to school and earned my Doctor of Veterinary Naturopathy and my Doctor of Naturopathy in human health. Shadrach lived nearly twelve years despite a rough start and my early conventional choices. His life shaped my philosophy: creation holds a wise rhythm, and our job is to listen.

Today I help caretakers tune in, build practical daily habits, and grow steady confidence. It’s not about adding more. It’s about hearing what’s already written and walking it out with joy.

What I do (and don’t do)

I am not a veterinarian

I do not diagnose, prescribe, or treat animals. Medical concerns belong with your licensed veterinarian. I focus on education and daily care.

Animal naturopathy focus

I teach species-appropriate living, simple routines, mindset, and connection rooted in the Creator’s design for life and health.

Education-first coaching

You’ll learn how to observe, ask better questions, and choose steady practices that fit real life. My goal is calm clarity, not quick fixes.

Realistic expectations

I don’t promise cures. You can expect clearer direction, consistent habits, and a stronger relationship with your animal.

My philosophy

Everything needed for life and harmony is already present in creation. When we tune our ears to God’s voice, stay in step with His rhythm, and let joy lead, our choices get simpler and steadier—for us and our animals.

FAQ

Are you a veterinarian?+

No. I am not a veterinarian and I do not diagnose, prescribe, or treat. If your animal has a medical emergency or needs clinical care, please see your licensed veterinarian. My work is educational and lifestyle-focused.

What is animal naturopathy?+

It is the study and practice of supporting animals through the laws of life in creation: appropriate nutrition, movement, rest, sunlight, fresh air, clean water, reduced stress, and a caretaker who listens and learns. It’s education, not medicine.

Will you replace my vet?+

No. We each have distinct roles. Your vet handles diagnosis and treatment. I help you build steady daily habits and clearer observations, which can also help you communicate more effectively with your vet.

What results should I expect?+

I don’t offer cures or timelines. Most caretakers report more confidence, simpler routines, and a calmer connection with their animals. Results depend on your consistency and your animal’s unique needs.

Why do you reference faith?+

My work is rooted in the belief that God designed creation with wisdom and order. Listening to His voice guides the way I teach and live. You don’t need to share my beliefs to learn practical skills here.
